FOOD JOURNAL

OK so have anyone heard of a food journal? It is what people use to track down everything you eat on a daily bases. For different reasons. to track calories, track what foods help or harm you, to track down good and bad eating habits, etc.
Well I'm thinking about starting one because i continue to fight my belly bloat. it is A WHOLE LOT BETTER  than it used to be and I thank a change of eating habits, my new found love walking/jogging and SHAKEOLOGY!.  But for some reason i continue to bloat. For some reason i think it is MILK!!! so that's  why i want to do the journal because i need to find out WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when i am bloated my weight increases ( just from the change in my belly) it is crazy to me. Hopefully I will find the culprit soon! STAY TUNED.....................

NO excuses!

I have heard many people talk about working out and the #1 reason I found that people say why they don't workout is " I don't have time" tisk, tisk. There is always time to get your body moving in the right direction! Here are tips I got from my Health and Fitness class last semester some I have incorporated in my life...
  • Take a family walk after dinner
  • Do yard work. Get your children to help
  • Park farther from the store and walk
  • Turn off the T.V and play ball at the park
  •  Explore new physical activities
  • Make a Saturday morning walk a habit
  • Get off the bus a stop early and walk
  • At the office take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Instead of sending your fellow employee down the hall a unofficial email walk to their area
  • Bring your lunch to work and walk to the area park/fountain enjoy the air
As you can see these activities will cost you nothing and is very easy to do during your normal daily routine! SO NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!!

WORK IT OUT!

Hey everyone it has been a long time... here's the scoop!
I found a new love... walking and jogging (soon running, HA)! I have been doing this for about a month. I go to the track mostly for like a hour or two. Then last month I did a 5k, yup for the first time! Im very proud of my self finished in 45 min 12 sec. Then 2 days ago I joined a gym!

With so many crazy things going on in my life I was still struggling with keeping up with working out. But I was determined that I cant let this continue to happen. So now im back in the swing of things. Workingout really is my therapy. It makes me happy and takes my mind off of everything. Thank God I found my escape!
My weight is back to the beginning but you cant see it, (except for my rear end...dang, J LO!) but I feel it. I know going to the gym will push me on my Quest! So excited.. Oh yeah with the 5k I did it for prostate cancer. Im doing two more in the fall for Autism and kidney research. Yes im amp yal.

Take care everyone and keep moving. Even through all the obsticles, we can and will do this! When your mind is so full with junk it is a great exersise to "walk" out of the situation and look down at it. Clear your mind, refocus, pray and your answer/help/relief will be waiting for you!
