NEW LIFE

Hey everyone!!
I know I know I been gone for 2 months but guess what I became a MONSTER!!! Nope this time I did not mess up or fell back... listen,  I AM IN THE PRIME OF MY LIFE!!! My way of eating and workouts has changed drasticly and it has been AMAZING!!!!!.

As you can see this has been alot of learning and fun! I have been 95% CLEAN EATING!!! It shows in the inside and out! I will post pictures later. but I just want to tell you guys when you work hard at whatever your goals are you WILL DO IT!! Also Iam re-building  my relationship with the Lord and guess what without him the willpower I have now could not been possible without him.
During the summer I also have been going through alot of personal changes....I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH AND OF IT WITHOUT THE LORD! I have peace through this storm and HE got me and i am thankful!

It took me a long time to finaly get it not that i did not want it before but I opened my self up to allow this to be a lifestyle not just my escape or my therapy. PROGRESS PT #2

Hey Peeps!
 So I didn't disappear alot going on , but I'm alive! :)
Just to bring everyone up to date. My diet has been so much fun. I continue to find new foods and recipes to create and experience. It has been awesome! I don't know how many inches I've lost since April but I'm now a size 2! The struggle i continue to have is my core strength. I still get bloated ( we all do) but i don't want it to be so bloated that my abs are playing hide and seek and sometimes it takes 2 days for them to come out from hiding. So that tells me that I NEED TO PUSH HARDER and CHECK MY DIET MORE.
 I started a Facebook page... New Life Beachbody Challenge! I hope yal check it out and "LIKE" it and share with your friends.
Since it is officially summer i have to go running either in the crack of dawn ( most likely that will not happen) or wait until the evening ( most likely WILL happen).


Everyone enjoy your summer and I hope you achieved your goals and even if you are not there yet not a problem starting this journey, i cant say it enough, is just that A JOURNEY. Enjoy the ride, the learning about your body and your results; that if you didn't start you would not be where you are today!!! I congratulate you!!!!! KEEP PUSHING!!!!!!!

PROGRESS!

 Here I am day 17 of my 90 day fitness and health journey. Let me share what I have been doing. Remember that I wanted to try to leave sugar alone (well wean off it). I think i been doing pretty good with that.  I have not been using refined sugar everyday. When I do via tea, I'll use 1 teaspoon, if I dont like the taste i deal with it or dont drink it. I  hardly had any milk (2% or lactose free) maybe 1-3 times. 4 slices at the most ( during a week span) of bread. My water intake SAD!!! I like water I dont know what my problem is... this needs serious improvement!  Protiens been very good. I read somewhere that to aid in muscle mass to have protien every meal so I been doing that 98% of the time. I been using GNC 100% whey protien. I like it, when im finished the bag i want to try something ( stronger?) more advanced. Fruits and veggies on the up and up.
 Im enjoying watching my body transform....
I have lost 3 pounds and 1/2 inches off my waist! This is great and my arm definition is great also!.
I been on this journey for the most part alone ( it like that sometimes). Sometimes I feel like I would work harder if i had a close accountability partner. I KNOW I WOULD!!! Summer is approaching I want to achieve my goal by then. Im glad for the friends I have on FB. Reading their progress encourages me to keep going and starting new goals.
I WILL KEEP GOING ON MY JOURNEY. I WILL NOT STOP! This is a lifestyle for me a way of life that I enjoy! This is a trial and error journey that will only make me stronger... how about you???

My Year of Exhale

Well, we made it 2012. So much have gone on I don't know where to start. New job, graduated from college, new home, ups and downs.... yeah alot. But one thing have not changed, my love for working out.  I have continued to run, workout at home, at the gym and changed my diet. Life have been interesting. Speaking of food. My food choices have changed greatly and it has been exciting. From how my body on the inside been reacting to the outside.

 I am totally hype because along with a huge change in diet during this challenge I'm gonna get more strict with my self and tackle my second food craving detox...SUGAR!! Yeah I said it SUGAR!! I am not going to go cold turkey I been weaning my self off for 3 days now. The reason for the weaning ( say that 3times fast...lol) is that I don't want my mind to play tricks with me. I don't want to "feel" like I'm fasting ( to much pressure) but I'm gonna take a serious one day at a time, mindful, thought provoking decision to do this.
 Also I'm doing in 30 day increments a focus to fat burning. Which means I will be focusing on consuming foods that promote fat burning. Plenty (more) of proteins, grains, veggies, water, fruit, rice- milk, Shakeology. Even fewer portions of wheat and grain types of bread, dairy, with needed portions of carbs!
 I am so excited about this and now I feel mentally ready to do this. Alot of times that's what it takes. You must be mentally ready to tackle whatever goals you place in front of you. Whether its health and fitness, choosing higher education...etc.


 I will make posts on Facebook about this 90 day journey I'm about to embark on. Along with pictures, videos ( if I figure out how to post it) and plenty of comments, encouragement, challenges and whatever...
